• Preparation - Let’s discuss your idea and the requirements for the website. We will commit the layout of your website to a working prototype or wireframe and discuss platform options before moving forward. This saves time and money.


• How to build your website - I'll take you through the pros of cons of all options: web firms, hiring in-house programmers, and the do-it-yourself routes. We can talk about common contract issues, pitfalls, and how to best structure your deal and expectations. 

• Payment systems - Do you need to accept payment online? We'll go through the most popular payment options, including Authorize.net, Verisign, PayPal, and Google Checkout, to find the best solution for you. We'll also talk about what type of banking you need to have in place and fraud protection.

• Artwork, photography, content writing, and wireframes - There are many details that go into building your website. You'll need an awesome logo (if you don’t already have one), smart copy, and photography. Who will do this and how? There are several options, including my team members or yours. I'll help you evaluate the options and plan around your budget and timeline.

• The Technical details – I will give you instructions to secure your domain. We will talk through email solutions and make sure your website is integrated with social media and newsletter platforms.
